PATERSON, Andrea

Paterson

On May 13th, 2018, one week after her 74th birthday, Andrea Sadie Paterson slipped peacefully into eternity with her two children, Rob and Alison, holding her hands. She loved nothing more than being a grandma, so these memories are from her three grandsons...

Christopher (12)...

“When I think of you, Grandma, I remember Christmas in Bruce Mines, sitting in the kitchen as family arrived for dinner. Family was so important to you! Thank you for taking an interest in the things that interest me, (Christmas of 2015… How much time DID we spend watching Food Network?!). Every shrimp ring I have from now on will be eaten in your honor! I love you, Grandma!”

Wyatt (10)...

“The things I will always remember are our monopoly days and sitting together each with a tub of ice cream while watching Friday Fright Night and Survivor.  I could tell you things I could never tell my mom because you were my best friend.  With every ice cream cone, I eat for the rest of my life, I will remember you!  I love you, Grandma!”

Liam (4)...

“I loved playing big, huge games with Grandma Paterson and giving her lots of hugs.”

Instead of donations, please take the loved ones in your life out for a meal and share your favorite story about “Andy,” who was always a big fan of remembering people as they were instead of how they passed!

We love you, Mom/Grandma!

Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758).
