With heavy hearts we regret to announce the passing away of Reg, aged 69, at the NSHN-Blind River due to complications of his cancer and deep vein thrombosis.
Predeceased by his parents Rene and Edna Parizeau and his sisters Diane, Mary, Nicole and Maxine. Lovingly remembered by his sisters Barbara, Joan, Gisele and Roberta and his children Tigéjean, Calixte, Brandon and Stacey. He will be forever missed by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many great friends.
Reg was an avid fisherman, a great cook and a talented athlete who played many different sports for many different teams. He was an alumnus of the 1963 Soo Peewee Grand Champions. He was optimistic, easy going and always looked on the brighter side of life. Reg was kind and helpful and he enriched the lives of those around him.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Prashant Jani and the cancer team in Sudbury who were diligent in their care of Reg. They also want to thank the community of MFN, their family and friends for their support during these tough times.
A celebration of Reg’s life will be announced and held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Menard Funeral Home.
