PARISH, M. Elsie (nee Bridge of Thessalon)

At the Chelsey Park Nursing Home, London, Ontario in her 96th year on Thursday, January 29, 2004. Elsie was a long time resident of Bruce Hill and a gardener of some repute. She was a life member of the U.C.W., Unit 8, Central United Church. Predeceased by her husband, T.S. Parish (1973) and her son Tom S. Parish Jr. (1997). Elsie is lovingly remembered by her daughter Marilyn (Fred Durham) of London, her daughter-in-law June Parish of Orillia; her grandchildren Jain Parish and partner Rod Wells of Orillia, Rebecca Parish of Toronto, Chuck Durham of Port Coquitlan, B.C., Chris and Jessie Durham of Cold Stream, B.C., and Cathy Durham of London, Ontario; her great grandchildren Steven and Marina Durham of Cold Stream, B.C.; also fondly remembered by Kay Love of Toronto. Former friends will be received at the Arthur Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 3, 2004 from 6-9 pm. Funeral service from the chapel on Wednesday, February 4, 2004 at 11 am. Mrs. Joy McPhee officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Central United Church Memorial Fund or to the Horticultural Society, Bellevue Park would be appreciated.
