April 9, 1947 – December 2, 2019
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Tom, aged 72 while at Health Sciences North in Sudbury. Finally at peace after several years of a hard-fought battle. He will be forever in the heart of his beloved wife of 52 years, Penny. Loving father of David (Rita) and Tom (Viola). Grandpa of Courtney, Kyla, Alicia (his little shadow), Alex and Eli. Predeceased by his parents Tom and Lillian and his sister Sally. His fur babies Shiloh and Bear will miss him dearly, they were his passion.
Tom loved fishing, working on small engines, painting in oils and water colours, tending to his flower beds, computer games and a good book.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Mary Shamas, as well as the doctors, nurses and staff members at North Shore Health Network Blind River and Health Sciences North, all of whom cared for Tom over the years.
Per Tom’s wishes there will be no services at this time. A celebration of life will be held in the Spring of 2020.
