Robert (Bob) Orlando passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday April 20, 2003, after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved son of the late Antonio (1960) and Jenny (1993) Orlando. Husband of the late Paula (2001). Father of Mary Orlando (Curtis Leach), of Sault Ste. Marie and stepfather of Anthony Politano (Kathy) of Sault Ste. Marie, Paul Politano of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, Constable Maria Politano of Kitchener and the late Martin Politano (1986). Loving Pepe of Madison Leach, Jordan Courtemanche, Kasey, Zackary, the late A.J. (1999) and Paige Politano. Brother of Evelyn and the late Eugene (1995) Lambert of Windsor, John and Nettie Orlando of Telford, Pennsylvania, the late Frank Orando (1989) and Iris Orlando (1977) of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Brother-in-law of the late Julie Orlando (2002) of Kitchener. Uncle Bob will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Friends may call at O'Sullivan Donnelly Funeral Home, corner of Cathcart and St. James Streets, on Wednesday, April 23rd from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 24th at St. Veronica's Church, Douglas Street, at 11:00 am with Rev. Paul Conway officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations to the Community Cancer Clinic would be appreciated.
