August 3, 1935 - April 4, 2021 - Passed away peacefully with family by her side at Extendicare Maple View - Sault Ste. Marie.
Carol is now reunited with her husband Dr. J. Patrick O'Neill. Loving mother of Kevin (Lynne), Bernie (Tiffany), Philip (Akiko), Barbara Roach (Darren) and Kathleen "Kathy" O'Neill. Grandmother of Sophie, Ben, Sean, Kyoko, Toshiro, Jack and Candace. Daughter of the late Patrick and late Gladys Nolan of Timmins, Ontario. Dear sister of the late Albert Nolan (Ann) and the late Jim Nolan. Predeceased by all other brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Carol will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Carol graduated as a nurse from St. Michael's College - Toronto. Her greatest love in life was playing violin and sharing her music. She was a talented musician and passed those skills on to her children and grandchildren. To the very end Carol was singing. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life and interment will take place at a later date in Glenelg Township at St. John's Cemetery. Memorial donations (payable by cheque or online) to Alzheimer's Society or the Maple View Resident's Council. A special thank you to the staff at Extendicare Maple View for the love and care you showed Carol over these last six years. There are too many of you to name but the friendship, love, laughter, and music that you were able to bring to Carol will never be forgotten.
