Frank Nolan Sr. passed away suddenly at the General Hospital on Saturday, March 8, 2003 in his 71st year. Loving husband of Charlotte (nee Gingras) for 49 years. Proud father of Steve (Stephanie), Frank Jr., Brian (Lonnetta), Michael (Viki) and late Henry and the late Debbie. Cherished grandfather of Debbie (Chris), Julie (Shawn), Jesse, Andrew, Jacob, Jessica, Shayenna, Kayla, Sheldon and Michael Jr. Great grandfather of Rhylie, Christopher and Reece. Son of the late Henry Nolan (Fanny). Son- in-law of the late Frank Gingras (Lucy). Dear brother of Anne MacLean (Bill), Richard (Isabel), late Marie Buchannen (Don), and the late Pauline Gibbs. Brother-in-law of Irene Dickonson (Perry), Beatrice Morin (late Brent), Late Willie Gingras (Liz), Late Raymond Gingras (late Margaret), late Connie Gingras (Kathy), and the late Anna Lateigne (Gerry). He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. Frank was born in Garden River and was a proud member of the Batchewana First Nation. He dedicated over 30 years to the sport of boxing as the coach of the Sault Boxing Club and the National Team. Frank's commitment to the sport and his sons were unequalled. He received the Sportsman award in 1975 and the City of merit award in 1980. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Tuesday, March 11, from 6-9pm and on Wednesday, March 12, 2003 from 11 am until time of service in the chapel at 1 pm. Rev.
