Evalee Helen Nino, age 82, of Bonita Springs, Florida passed away on January 5, 2021. A loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and proud grandmother and great grandmother. Evalee was proceeded in death by her husband, Ronald Felix Nino and is survived by her children; Anthony and Fran Nino of GA, Ronnalee and Randy Kent of Charlevoix MI, Kristine and Todd Witnauer of Grand Blanc MI, and Angela and Karen Andrews-Nino of Bonita Springs FL. Loving sister to Jimmy Miller (Mary), Harold Miller, Janet Callahan (John), Marianne Therien (Dayn), Marney Kendrick, and Susan Kendrick. Evalee was a devoted grandmother to Lindsay Nino, Riley Kent (Jake), Austin Kent, Kassidy Barnett (Chris), Madisson Witnauer (Kevin), Bryant Andrews (Stacey), Brendan Andrews and great grandmother to Clover, Jack, Beau and Hudson. Evalee is survived by her goddaughters, Denise Santana and Claudia Greco as well as many adoring nieces, nephews, and cousins. Evalee was born on September 2, 1938 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario to Harold and Helen Miller. To say Evalee was a fantastic cook and hostess just doesn’t do it justice! Holidays were made special by the delicious, Italian meals she lovingly prepared. We have such happy memories of watching our dad sing and dance with our mom, she cherished these moments. Affectionately known as our little Garden Gnome, working in her gardens brought her much peace and solace, especially after our dad's passing. We would like to give thanks to her sisters, Janet and Marney who cared for our mother. Special thanks to Hailey, Carson, and Jenna who brought her so much joy in her last days on St. Joseph's Island. Gratitude and appreciation to Angela and Karen for being amazing care givers to our mom. They brought so much joy and happiness into her life.
