Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital with family at his side on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Alice for 64 years. Loving father of Lisa Figures (Michael), Lori Maunu (late Richard) and Michael Nenonen (Pina). Proud ukki of Matthew Figures (Meagan), Christopher Figures, Ryan Maunu (Lianna), Mika and Maija Nenonen. Adoring great grandfather of Leighton and Macy. Predeceased by his parents Mikko and Hilja Nenonen and his sister Kerttu of Finland. Brother-in-law of Melba Hyyrylainen (late Vilho) and Sylvia Alanen (William). Leo will also be remembered by his nieces and nephews as well as many cousins in Canada and Finland. A private service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church. Pastor Brad Mittleholtz officiating.
