It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Laurie Nedeau on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at the Sault Area Hospital at the age of 60.
Laurie was cherished by her husband Mike Nedeau. She was the proud mother of Chris Higgins (Melissa Milne), Amanda Wilson (Jody Wilson) and her fur baby, Peanut. She was admired by her grandchildren Riley Higgins and Devon Higgins. She will forever be remembered and loved by her siblings Helen Lang (late Gary), John Hopkin (Brenda), Kenny Hopkin (Debbie) and her sister-in-law Debbie Hopkin (late Gary). She was a friend and aunt to many who will miss her dearly.
Preceded in death by her parents Jean and Edwin Hopkin, her husband Kevin Higgins, her siblings Betty Hopkin, Gary Hopkin and Harold Hopkin, and her baby Shawn Higgins.
“The ones we love never go away. They walk beside us even on this day. Unseen, unheard yet always near. Still loved, still missed, and very dear.”
As per Laurie's wishes, a cremation has taken place. Family will gather at a later date to celebrate her life.
