With deep regret we announce the passing of Rene (Ben) Morin on June 27, 2004, in his 89th year. Predeceased by wife Edna (nee Roberts). Cherished father of Kenneth (Carol) of Orangeville, Sarah Williams (Ron) of Bruce Mines, Allan (Jacinta) of Bruce Mines, Edith Fortchimo (late Sydney) of Chisasibi, PQ, Nancy Milne (Ron) of Kirkland Lake, Mary McNeely (Bruce) of Bangkok, Thailand, Lois Nolan (Paul) of Bruce Mines and Robert of Iqaluit, Nunavet. Loving brother of Leona McAnaul (George) of Haileybury and brother-in-law of Eleanor (Nell) Harrison of Elliot Lake. Beloved grandfather of 14 and "Big Grandpa" to 20 great grandchildren. Uncle to many nices and nephews. At his request cremation has taken place. A memorial service for family and friends will be held on July 10, 2004 at 83 Taylor Street, Bruce Mines at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the Thessalon Hospital or Algoma Manor.
