Peacefully at home, surrounded by love and on his terms, on Monday, February 13, 2017 in his 87th year. Beloved Husband of Ruth for 63 years. Loving Father of Ross (Debbie), Helen (George) (late Phil), Carolyn (Terry), Pat (Lori) (late Lise), Penny (Ray) and Mike (Deb). Most loving, supportive and understanding Grandpa of Robert, Amy, Ryan, Amanda, Ashley, Chris, Lezlee, Krista, Jessica, Michael, Matt, Mackenzie, Taylor, Colin, Carly, Rachael, Jessica and Adam. Proud Great Grandpa of Felix, Jade, Patrick, Joshua, Jax, Jett, Terry and Emily. Best bud of the late Tucker. Predeceased by his parents Tom and Irene and siblings Annamarie and Lloyd Peter. Son-in-law of the late Jessie and Joe Mathewson. Big Brother-In-Law of Eileen, late Joan and late Barry. He will be sadly missed by his special nieces Cathy and Connie and his adopted family Penny, Pat, Dayna, Holly, Tony, Bev, Anthony, Candace, Jackie, Ellen, Pauline, Joelle, Danielle, Chanelle and John. As per Bob’s wishes, a private family celebration of his life was held. He was a gentle soul with a big heart, who will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he touched over the years. Memorial contributions to the Northern Ontario School of Medicine – Lise Moore Memorial Bursary would be appreciated by the family.
