Valdemar Mitroanov passed away peacefully, after a lengthy illness, at the General Hospital on Sunday May 11, 2003 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Catherine (Krezek) Mitrofanov. Dear step-father of Joan Lessard (Peter). Loving grandfather of Holly Williams and Nicholas Frolick (Dolly). Great grandfather of Chelsea Rae Williams and Bobby Jag Frolick. A private visitation for family, and friends of Bill will take place at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road, 945-7758) on Thursday May 15 from 1:00 pm until time of the funeral service in the Chapel at 2:00 pm with Reverend Robert Elkin officiating. Memorial donations made to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you to the nurses on 100Y at the General Hospital, Dr. S. Spadafora and Dr. A.
