Passed away at the Plummer Memorial Hospital on Sunday, March 21, 2004 in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Dorothy. Dear father of Stephen and Kenneth (Janice). Brother of Don (Pat) of Nanaimo, B.C., Irene Mackie of Niagara Falls, Dennis (Theresa) of Collingwood and the late Allan. Remembered by his many nieces and nephews. With respect to Melvin’s wishes, a private family service was held at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Wednesday, March 24, 2004 at 1 p.m. Mr. Aubrey Shaw officiated. Memorial donations to the SAH Oncology Unit or to the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
