It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret (Peggy) Merrigan at the Scarborough General Hospital, Scarborough, Saturday, March 27, 2004 at the age of 56. Dear wife of Kevin Merrigan. Dear daughter of the late Ivan and Margaret Richards. Dear mother of Ann Merrigan of Toronto and Kevin Merrigan (Leslie Smith) of Cobourg. Dear grandmother of Melyssa, Nicholas, Amy, Jesse and Baylee Merrigan. Dear sister of Dianna Parsons (Mel Scott), Jack Richards (Claudette), Barb French (late Henry), Bob Richards (Giselene), Mary Goulet (late Homer), Ivan Richards (Melva), Brenda Parent (Jim), Neil Richards, Karen Richards and the late Ken Richards. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Menard Funeral Home, Blind River, Monday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service to be held from the Funeral Home Tuesday, March 30, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Gilbert Kidd officiating. Cremation to follow. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
