It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Carmelo Medaglia in his 84th year. Born in Aiello Calabro, Italy on April 13, 1935. Beloved husband of Maria. Cherished father of Rosario (Lynn), Carlo (Sue) and Robert (Sylvie). Adored Nonno of Carmen Medaglia (Kirsti), Carlo Jr. Medaglia (Ashley), Christina Carchidi (Frank), Michael Medaglia (Julie), Lisa Medaglia (Sultan), Mary Nunez (Enrique), Robert Jr. Medaglia (Jessica). Special Bis Nonno to Ainslee, Amirah, Khadijah, Rocco, Luca and the 6th arriving in May. Special to his heart Damien and Daniel Numez. Son of the late Concetta and Rosario Medaglia. Brother to the late Maria Sicoli (late Giovanni), late Rosa Speelman (late Leone), late Eugenio (Antonia), late Guisseppe (Victoria). Son-in-law to Rosina and Giovanni Coccimiglio. Brother-in-law to Pasquale Coccimiglio (Anna). Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Dad found great joy in barbering over the years and made many friends doing so. Dad loved the outdoors and took pride in his garden. Special thanks to Van Daele and Maple View nursing homes for taking care of Dad. Friends and family are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. – 705-759-2522) on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
