McMILLAN, Elizabeth (Betty)

Peacefully at Sault Area Hospital on Friday, February 22, 2013 in her 86th year.  Beloved wife and best friend of the late Thomas McMillan.  Loving and devoted mother of Ian (Lisa).  Cherished grandma of Taylor, Kristen (Kevin) and Ashlee (Nathan).   Sister of the late Eric Stillwell (UK) and Jean Jones (George) of Hamilton, ON. Special aunt to Janet Clark (Alex) and Bill McMillan (Norma) and many relatives in Scotland and England. Betty will be dearly missed by her family and many friends.  Ian and Lisa wish to express their sincere appreciation to the exceptional care Betty received from the nurses in 3B at SAH, Cathy, Paula, Tiffany, Ingrid and Heidi and Drs. Kuntz, Spadafora, Chow, Reich, Lee and Pritchard.  Also, thanks to Dr. Smith and the ER nurses, Robin, Jeff and Chantalle. Family and friends may call at Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday, February 25, 2013 from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1 pm. Mrs. Janet Norman officiating. Entombment St. Luke’s Columbarium. Memorial contributions to the SAH Cancer Care Fund would be appreciated by the family.
