July 23, 1977-January 29, 2023 – Taken from us way too soon -
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Angela Heather McLean (Siiganagwet Kwe - Rising Cloud - Migizi Dodem) after a brief struggle with cancer. Beloved daughter of Violet and (the late) Robert McLean. Dear sister of Kim Goodmurphy (Dan), Chris Fraser (Kym), Robert (Tag) Corbiere (Amy), Robin Moreau (Dennis) and Kathy Wabigwan. Special niece of many aunts and uncles—too many to name. Always loved by her nephew Dustin and nieces Erica and Autumn and many other nieces and nephews as well as many great-nieces and great-nephews. Angela will also be remembered and missed by her many cousins and friends. A very special thank you to her special “SeeStars” Marcy Miller and Carla Gerrard for spending so many hours by Angela’s side throughout her hospital stay.
We will miss Angela’s smile and sense of humour and fun but we’re sure she’ll bring extra joy to those she encounters in the spirit world.
A pipe ceremony will take place at the Healing Lodge at Thessalon First Nation at 10 am on Wednesday, February 1st followed by a memorial service at the hall.
