Peacefully at Maple View, with her family by her side on Saturday, March 6, 2021 in her 99th year. 

Beloved wife of the late Gerald Oswald McKinnon. Loving mother of Lynn, Janet (late Jamie Williamson) and Douglas (Kathryn Armstrong). Proud Grandma of Alissa. Proud Great Grandma of Brock Jordan. Norma was predeceased by her parents Hector and Eleanor St. Amand and by her sisters Beulah Hess (late Denzil), Rena Entwistle (late James), Stella Willson (late Bill) and brothers Hector St. Amand (late Isobel) and Edwin St. Amand (Joyce). Norma will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Mom was born and raised in Sault Ste Marie and worked as the Executive Secretary to the President of the ACR. She raised a loving family and enjoyed baking, camping, walking, singing, dancing, laughing and also loved to watch sports. She was a woman of faith and enjoyed her time as a "duster" at John Wesley United Church where she was a long standing member. At Norma's request there will not be a funeral service. Interment Laird Cemetery. Memorial contributions (payable by cheque) to Cystic Fibrosis Canada or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Special thanks to Dr. Leahy, Dr. Yee and the staff at Maple View "Tunnel Lake."
