George Albert McGonegal passed away suddenly, but peacefully at home. He went to be with his Lord on Monday, April 7, 2003 in his 62nd year. Our hearts are filled with sorrow. Beloved husband of Carol. Loving and devoted dad of Sherri Gardner (Robert), Treena Harrington (Mark) and Poppy-Lynn Haynes (Art). Grandpa to 8 beautiful grandchildren, Ryan, Shawn, Daniel, Kayla, Lorisa, Bryce, Macie and Riley. Son of the late Milton and Melba. Foster son to Lucy Moreau. Loving brother of Lois, Donald (Betty) and Nancy DiPaulo. Special son-in-law of Betty Daigle. Best friend and brother-in-law of Dan Daigle (Denise). He will be sadly missed by his sisters-in-law Debbie (Gerry), Cindy (Dennis) and Dawn Marie (Rickie). Survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Barton & Kiteley Funeral Home & Cremation Centre for a funeral service on Saturday, April 12, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Sam Norbo officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Soup Kitchen would be appreciated by the family.
