Heartbroken, the family of Dave announce his peaceful passing after a valiant struggle at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday, April 16, 2018. Much loved husband of Judy (nee Palmer). Dear father of Michael McDougall (Tammy), Ian McDougall, Steve Hilderley (Brenda), Scott Hilderley (Teresa) and Tracey Hilderley (Stephen). Loving grandpa of Kaela, Brock and Alexia, and Grandpa Daze (Eastern Scottish champion of all things important) of Megan and Owen. Great grandfather of Lachlan and favourite brother-in-law of Pat Haines and uncle of Penny and Michael . At Dave's request, there will be no service. Cremation has taken place. The family would like to thank the ICU nurses Shawna, Erika, Ashley, Mel and Stacey for their care and compassion during this difficult time, as well as Dr. Banks, Dr. Ghosh, and Dr. Bawazeer.
