Born February 29, 1952

Began her spiritual journey June 14, 2019 with her beloved sister Marlene by her side.  

Predeceased by her loving parents Elizabeth (Williams) McCoy and Clarence (Sonny) McCoy.  Cherished sister of Linda Herriman (late James), Herb (Deb), Marlene (Dave), Bev Syrette (late Ted), Donna (Max).  Predeceased by sister Audrey and brothers Thomas, Alex, James, John and Joseph.  Roseanna will be missed and remembered by her many nieces and nephews who Roseanna loved and cherished. Roseanna enjoyed much time with her great nephews Curtis, Jonathon, Anthony and Thomas, they filled her heart with such happiness and joy.  She had a love of her community Garden River First Nation where she grew up. She had a passion for travelling and enjoyed meeting new friends all over the world. She enjoyed her gardening and love of the outdoors. Roseanna was a survivor, warrior and will forever be missed. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of many.  

Friends are invited to visit at the Garden River Community Centre on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 11am until the time of service on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 1pm with Keith Boissoneau officiating.  Burial to take place at the Garden River Anglican Cemetery. Friends are invited for a feast following the burial.  A special thank you to Garden River First Nation Fire Department (Luke Pine, Tim Johns).  First responders (Sault Ste. Marie), Garden River First Nation Police Department, Bayshore and Garden RIver Home Care, Palliative Care (2C) nurses and doctors.  Roseanna had many, many good friends who were there thru her life, including Marg Hele and her 'hockey buddy' Bill on Palliative Care.
