Hugh Brian McCoy passed away peacefully in his sleep at the Plummer Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, October 23, 2002 at the age of 60. Hugh was employed by Bell Canada for 28 years. He spend countless hours coaching hockey and enjoying his family and friends. Beloved husband of the late Cathryn. Dear father of Kirsten, Matthew (Kelly), and Rachael (Peter). Loved grandfather of Caitlyn. Brother of Grace Roy (George), Marilyn McKinnon (Ken), Gordon (Lynn), Sandy (Jack) and Debbie Pihulac (Rob). Brother-in-law of Henrietta Blaha (Vernon) and Nancy Fagerlie (Roger). In keeping with Hugh's wishes, a celebration of his life will be held at his home on St. Joseph Island on Saturday, October 26 from 12:00 noon. Memorial contributions to the Cancer Clinic would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to express sincere thanks and gratitude to Ian and Ivy MacDonald for their devotion and love.
