Elizabeth Lillian McCoy (nee Williams) passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Saturday, May 25, 2002 at the age of 74. Elizabeth is the last direct descendant of Chiefs Shingwawkonce and Bughuechenene. Predeceased by her most beloved mother and father, Eliza (Wabbunasa) and George (Shebahgezhic) Williams. Dear wife of the late Clarence (Sonny). Loving mother of Roseanna, Linda Herriman (late James), Herb (Deb), Marlene (Dave), Bev Syrette (Ted), Donna (Max) and predeceased by her precious children James, John, Joseph, Alec, Thomas, and Audrey. Sister of the late Bob Williams (late Mamie). Proud grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Monday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Luke's Cathedral on Tuesday, May 28 at 11:00 a.m. with The Very Reverend Garry Dobinson officiating.
