(1951 – 2022) - It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Brian Joseph McCoy on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at the Sault Area Hospital with his loving family at his side.
Brian McCoy, in his 71st year of life.
Beloved husband of Virginia. Brian is reunited with his parents William "Bill" and Doris McCoy. Loving father of Derek (April), Luke (Kathy), Stan (Crystal) and the late Stephen. Step-father to Geraldine (Earl), Della, Mae, Frank, Andre and Hugo. A special Papa and Great grandpa to many. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Special friend of Stella (Arnold) and Lena. Dear brother of late Alex, late Shirley (Willard) late Victor (Judy), Marilyn, Danny (Linda) Arlene, Debbie (Mike), Diane (Mario).
Our heartfelt thanks to all the medical staff at the Batchewana Health Center and the Sault Area Hospital. Your care and compassion did not go unnoticed. Thank you to Batchewana First Nation Band office for their care and professionalism. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held in the near future.
