Andrew "Andy" McCann passed away peacefully at home with his wife by his side after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer on Saturday March 15, 2003 at the age of 63. Beloved husband and best friend of Audrey. Cherished father of Sharon and Lara McCann of Chelmsford, Ontario. Much loved stepfather of Linda Moan, Jerry Christmas (Paula) and Ralph Christmas (Anna). Proud Grandpa of Shannon and Trista Moan, Elaine Christmas and Jason Little. Dearly loved brother of Gaby Letourneau (Jacques), Lise Laquerre, Edgar McCann (Suzette), Liliane McCann-Barbeau (Andre), Rolande Lemire (Claude), Denis McCann and Helene McCann. Proud uncle of many nieces and nephews. Andy will be sadly missed by many dear friends. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Tuesday, March 25, at 1:00 p.m. for a memorial service with Rev. Bernard Burns officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Clinic would be appreciated by the family.
