Peacefully at Algoma Manor on Friday, June 14, 2019 in her 88th year. Loving wife of the late Jack. Mother of Jackie, Mark (Carol) and Lynn (Diane). Much loved Grandmother of Amanda (Robert), Aaron (Joanne), Colin (Brittany), Caitlynn and the late Bryce. Proud Great Grandmother of Miles, Drake, Dean, Eva and Emmett.
Predeceased by her parents the late Seymour and Ivy McLeod (nee Goodmurphy). Dear sister of Stan McLeod (Heather), Beverly Hammond (Keith) and the late Keith (Dorothy), the late Dorothy, the late Marj (late Don), the late Vera, the late Fred (Arlene), the late Gerald (late Barbara), the late Glen (Gayle) the late Kirk (Jean), the late Garry and the late Wayne. Daughter-in-law of the late Thomas and the late Nellie McCaig (nee Williton). Sister-in-law to the late Eva Pateman (late Lawrence), the late Mae Haight (late Carl), the late Thelma Haight (late Randal), the late Rhoda MacMillan, the late Margaret Noble, the late Ivan McCaig (late Phyllis), the late Ted, the late Fred McCaig (Gail Gardiner) and the late Bernie McCaig (Gale). Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.
A private family graveside service and interment was held at Maple Ridge Cemetery.
Ruth was a life-time member of the Royal Canadian Legion and Eastern Star.
