MAXWELL, Brenda (Rivard)

With heavy hearts, we are saddened by the unexpected passing of our mother at her home, July 19, 2021, at the age of 75. She leaves behind her loving daughters Tanya (Fadi Aramouni), Trisha Menard, and her sons Allen Lee Maxwell (Lorena), and Troy Plumber (Lisa). Proud grandmother of Jordan and Jackson Menard and Dominic Maxwell. Preceded by her parents Harvey and Molly Rivard and brother Ronald (Verna). She also leaves behind her sister Kim Godard (late Rick), Debbie and JR Peloten. The family would like to acknowledge Brenda’s best friend Sandra Miskiw. 
 
Brenda devoted her time and life to hairdressing. She started out as the first female commanding officer of the 155 Sault Ste. Marie squadron of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets. She then began to work at Hollywood unisex centre in the Churchill Plaza by day, continuing to work with the cadets at night, as it was a commitment, she thoroughly enjoyed it as a way to help out all kids. Brenda eventually moved on to opening her own hair salon Maxwells on Trunk Road for 16 memorable years.
 
Even on her last day she did what she loved most. She will be missed by so many.
