It is with heavy hearts that we announce Michael’s passing at the Sault Area Hospital on January 1, 2021 surrounded by his devoted family. He will forever be missed by his loving wife Lorraine and his sisters Janice, Patti Jones, Kristin and Anne (Peter). Predeceased by his parents Lois and Walter. Son-in-law of the late Conrad and Yvonne Vachon. Brother-in-law of James (Kim), Gary (Lori) and Steve. Cherished uncle of many.
Michael will always be remembered for his love of the outdoors and spending time with his family and friends at camp. He had a lifelong love for his boxer dogs and leaves his best buddy Cutlass behind. Michael could often be found in his “busted knuckle” garage working on one of his many projects. He was known for throwing his famous weeklong birthday parties at the house at Pointe des Chenes.
A special thank you to the Sault Area Hospital ICU doctors and nurses for the special care and attention that was shown to Michael.
A celebration of Michael’s life will be announced at a later date when we can all gather together.
