We are heartbroken to announce the unexpected passing of Richard “Rick” Marzetti on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at the Sault Area Hospital at the age of 76.
Predeceased by his parents Elio and Assunta. Absolutely devoted to the love of his life Sylvia Starzomski, and proud papa to his dog Stella. Reunited with his beloved brother David and his sister Pamela. Forever cherished by his step-children Ian Starzomski (Christine), and Lori-Anna Jenkins (Brad) and grandson Myles. Father of Rachel.
Rick loved a good game night of cards or dominoes, and will be greatly missed by many family and friends especially George and Maria, Ray and Brenda, Sylvia and Murray and his lifelong friend Perry.
Rick was always the fun guy in the room. From playing “Santa” at Christmas time, to always making bad “dad jokes”, his smile could light up your heart. His laugh was contagious, and his love for his family was never ending.
As per Rick’s wishes, there will be no service and cremation has taken place.
The world will be a different place without him in it, but we all know he would want us to live our lives to the fullest in his honor.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions (payable by cheque or online) to ARCH would be appreciated.
