Our mother was very special to us, she truly was an example of courage, strength and determination. She was selfless and always giving, not only to her family but to everyone she knew. Rose continued to operate Sandro’s Family Restaurant for many years after her husbands passing until the time of her retirement. She has left an established and successful business, which her family continues to operate today. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Sunday, August 11, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Gerard Majella Church on Monday, August 12, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Alex Saurianthadathil officiating. Thank you to the staff at Collegiate Heights for the care of our mother during her brief stay. A special thank you to the staff of the FJ Davey Home Birch 1 and Palliative Care for the wonderful care and compassion shown to our mother and our whole family over the years.
