Peacefuly passed away at the General Hospital, surrounded by her family on Monday February 11 2002. Beloved wife of the late Edward. Loving mother of Edward (Denise) of Thunder Bay, Barbara McDowell (Gordon), of Sault Ste. Marie and Laura Chasty of Hilton Beach. Cherished grandmother of Scott Chasty (Cassandra), Sharol Chasty, Angela Chasty all of Thunder Bay, Tom McDowell and Sarah McDowell of Sault Ste. Marie. Dear sister of the late Ian Sneddon (late Marion). Sister in law of Isobel Kelly (Jim) of New Zealand and the late Jean Haley (Bill). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Margaret was a long-time member of the Catholic Women's League. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home on Thursday February 14 2002 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm with mass to follow at Our Lday of Good Counsel at 1 pm. Rev. Roy McPariand officiating. Cremation to follow with internment at Greenwood Cemetary. Memorial contributions to the Soup Kitchen or to the Sault Area Hospitals Cancer Clinic would be appreciated by family.
