Peacefully at the F.J. Davey Home, surrounded by his family and his loving wife of 67 years on Monday, November 19, 2018 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of Gladys (nee Inch) MacKenzie. Loving father of Glen and Gina MacKenzie, Ivan MacKenzie, June and Stan Cook and Jean and Don Brunton. Cherished Papa of Derek (Amy) MacKenzie of Red Deer, Alberta, Kelly (Clint) Nyberg of Vernon, B.C., Kris (Brenda) Brunton of Deseronto, Ontario, Lauren (Ryan Shand) Brunton of Sault Ste. Marie and Alissa (Josiah) Jordan of Grimsby, Ontario. Proud great-grandfather of Cameron MacKenzie, Gunner Nyberg, William, Seth and Katherine MacKenzie, MacKenzie, Ethan, Emily Brunton and Brock Jordon. Predeceased by his parents Malcolm and Anna MacKenzie and his siblings Ellen Patterson (late Floyd), Roy MacKenzie (late Bonnie), Jack MacKenzie (late Jessie), Gloria McKersie. Brother-in-law of late Ernest Inch (Madra). Beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews. Missed by Luanne and Ken Erechook and the Keene family.

Kenneth was born and raised in Bruce Mines. Ken and Gladys moved to the Sault in 1951 to their home on Elmwood and stayed for 63 years. Ken was a compassionate, kind-hearted man. Always willing to lend a hand. He put his immediate family first. He loved hockey, the Inch farm, gardening, building crafts, tinkering and animals.

Friends are invited to visit the family at Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street East, 705-759-2522) on Friday, November 23, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel at 1 p.m. Mr. Charlie Martin officiating. Interment Cloudslee Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Cystic Fibrosis of Canada or to the F.J. Davey Home would be appreciated. Special thank you to the staff of the 1st floor Driftwood at the F.J. Davey Home for the excellent care they have provided over the last 3 years.
