With love in our hearts, we announce that Garnet Franklin MacJanet has peacefully been called back to his heavenly home on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 in his 95th year.
Garnet was the youngest of twelve children and son of Mary Lorena Dagg and Robert Franklin MacJanet. He was a wonderful husband to wife, Beverly and a great and loving father to Lorena (Al), David (Laila) and Jay (Tanya). To his grandchildren, Kayla (Jewlz), Tanner, Bailey (Ciara), Alexa, Matthew, and Cooper, he was always present with his unconditional love, humour and wisdom.
He embraced his faith and led by example. His life was filled with service to others and he devotedly filled his church callings. He will be missed by many, and forever loved by all who knew him. Family and friends are invited to a funeral service at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter - Day Saints (126 Caledon St.)(masks are required and a maximum capacity of 79 people) on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 2 pm. Bishop Harri Heimonen officiating. Garnet was a strong supporter of those in need. Memorial contributions to the Soup kitchen or your local food bank would be appreciated.
