On Saturday July 17, 2004, after a lengthy illness, Sidney MacFarlane in his 72 year, beloved husband of Lola. Dear Dad of Todd (Lois), Jaimie (Lori), Kim (Jim) Kent all of Thessalon. Grandpa to Shane, Cassie, Tyson, Josh, Denver and Ben MacFarlane, Sydney, Morgan and Hannah Kent. Son of the late Angus and Gladys MacFarlane. Brother of Earl (Joyce) of Desbarat, Shirley Metivier and Brenda Rice both of Sault Ste. Marie and the late Vernon and Bob. Resting at the Beggs Funeral Home Thessalon, where friends may call of Monday July 19th from 7-9 pm. Funeral Tuesday to Thessalon Church of Christ for service at 2 p.m. Interment Maple Ridge Cemetery. Donations to Sault Area Hospitals would be greatly appreciated by Sid's family.
