Peacefully at the FJ Davey Home, surrounded by the love of his family on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at the age of 86. Loving husband of Lillie Luck for 62 years. Cherished and respected father of Bob (Nancy), late Cathy (Keith), John (Patricia) and Tammy Martinsen (Poul). Adored Papa of Jamie (Deana), Robbie (Kait), Tammy, Keith Jr. (Melissa), Corey (Jessica), Trevor (Natasha), Charlie, Christian (Catherine), Brien (Meagan) and Nathan (Stephanie). Great Papa of 14 and Great Great Papa of 1. Bob will lovingly be remembered by his sister and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and their families in Forest, Ontario and special friends Mike and Lana Gowland. Bob is predeceased by his parents George and Mary and his sister Mary Beth. Bob was a kind and gentle soul who loved his life, wife and family beyond measure. He loved to travel and after retirement from Algoma Steel spent the winters in Florida. Bob loved puttering around the yard or garage, moose hunting with the gang, boating and sitting on the deck at camp with family, in the sun or watching the sunsets. As per Bob’s wishes, there will be no services. Memorial contributions, in Bob’s honour, can be made to the charity of your choice.
