Our hearts are broken with the passing of Bud on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at the F.J. Davey Home, surrounded by his wife and his two daughters.

He will be sadly missed by his childhood sweetheart, best friend and adored wife Pat (nee Thompson) of over 60 years.  He always said she was the true love of his life.  Bud will be tearfully missed by his loving daughters Tracy Peloquin (Kevin) and Jami Carter (Anthony), as he was always there for support as not only a father but also as a friend.  He was a hero in their hearts.  Adored by his four grandchildren who were the light of his life, Mandy and Ashley Carter and Dawson and Zander Peloquin.  Bud loved nothing more than being with his children and grandchildren, especially at Christmas.

Loving son of the late Ernie and Eva Lidstone (nee Campbell).  Dear brother of the late Wayne Lidstone(Sherrill).  Brother-in-law of the late Mel Thompson (late Julie), late Marg Sandvik (late Jim), late Marion Parr (late Ron), and late Marlene Bolton (late Leonard).  Bud will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

As per the family's wishes, no visitation or service will be held.  Memorial contributions payable by cheque or online to ARCH Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you to the many wonderful people who helped him through his health journey.  We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Wayne Marion from SAH for taking his time to make Bud feel so special. Bud was truly loved and he touched the heart of everyone he met.

Arrangements entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. 706-759-2522).  Please visit Arthur Funeral Home website obituaries to leave a memory or a message of condolence for Bud's family.
