Lempi Leppanen, with her family around her, went to be with Jesus at the age of 87 years, at Mauno Kaihla Nursing Home on Thursday, April 4, 2002. She was predeceased by her husband, Eric. Dear mother of Allan and his wife, Jean (Witzel). Grandmother to Elsa Blaine (Danny). Sister of Onni Koivisto (late Margaret) and Helen Tessier (Clyde) and predeceased by Leo Koivisto (Betty). Daughter of the late John and Hilja Koivisto. Friends and relatives may call at the Arthur Funeral Home on Sunday, Apr. 7 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, Apr. 8 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor David Kingston officiating.
