Joseph Gerard (Jerry) Leger passed away at the General Hospital on Saturday, December 21, 2002 at the age of 91. He was a retired RCMP Staff Sergeant, Marine Division - S.S.M., Captain of M.P. 88. Beloved husband of Brigitte for 63 years. Dear father of Kenneth (Chris) and of the late Florence Bertolo and Bernard Leger (Bernie). Proud grandfather of Anthony Bertolo (Rene), Tina Bertolo (Dave Russell), Vicki Jackson (Dave), Rhonda Couchie, Steve Leger and Mike Leger (Cathy). Proud great grandfather of Avery, Jordan, Haley and Cade. Special thanks to the nurses, doctors and staff at the General Hospital for their wonderful care and concern. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday, December 23 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Good Counsel on Tuesday, December 24 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Roy McParland officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
