Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at the age of 82.
Beloved and caring husband of Terttu. Loving father of Timo and Ari (Renee). Loving Step-Father of Mark Jokinen (Monique), Merja (Tina) Greco (John) and Sari Jokinen (Josh).
Loving Alpo-Pappa to Janne and Mika, Alex and Niko, Rainer and Markus, Rachel and Sophia, and Nikos and Maila and great grandpa to Harley.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at OFRA Kotitalo for their above and beyond care of Alpo as well as the caring staff at the SAH for making his lengthy hospital stay comfortable.
Donations may be made payable by cheque to the Ontario Finnish Resthome Association (OFRA) or the SAH Foundation.
