Peacefully at the F J Davey Home on February 5, 2018 in her 82nd year. Loving Mother of Suzanne (Michael) Hanna, Robert (Anna) LaPensee, Laurie Ann (Colin) Streiling, and the late David LaPensee. Beloved Grandmother of Natalie (Bill) Mantha, Jordan Hanna and Ashleigh Hanna; Marissa (Sean) MacDonald; Ryan LaPensee, Nicole Mitchell (Alex), Jocelyn LaPensee (Justin); Ashton Streiling and the late Sheldon Streiling. Great Grandma to Emily and Kaitlyn Mantha, Grace Teneyck and Cooper MacDonald, Alyssa and Jada Thompson and Cameron Mitchell. Predeceased by her parents Roy and Elsie (Barnes) Jones, sister Helen (Jim), and brothers Lloyd (Rose), Ross (Gladys), Garnet, Ralph (Shirley) and Louis Jones. Dear sister-in-law of Beulah and Janice Jones. She will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Affectionately known as “Wheels”, Vicky will be remembered for her avid love of gardening, her fierce protection and care for abandoned animals, and her steadfast love and unconditional support of her family. The family would like to thank the wonderful caring staff of F J Davey Home – 2nd and 3rd Driftwood Beach, for all their compassionate care and loving support over the last number of years. In keeping with Vicky’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Following cremation, there will be a private family celebration of her life. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sault Ste.
