It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stacey Kelly Lambert (nee Tomchick) on January 22nd, 2022 at the age of 47.  Stacey was a loving wife and best friend to Bob and devoted mother to their beautiful daughter Mackenzie; adored daughter to the late Douglas Tomchick and Cathy Levert (Marvin); cherished daughter-in-law to Susan Lambert; loved sister to Sheri Tomchick (Jason); the best sister-in-law to Dave Lambert (Shauna) and Steve Lambert (Tara); and proud aunt to Addison, David, Xavier, Katherine, and Ruby.

Stacey was born in Sudbury, ON and grew up in Elliot Lake, ON.  She moved to Sault Ste. Marie to attend university in 1993.  Shortly after, she met the love of her life and they married in 2001. The best gift Stacey ever gave and received was her daughter Mackenzie.  Stacey was a wonderful mom that poured her heart into raising her daughter to become the beautiful and kind person she is today.

Stacey loved her work as a teacher at White Pines where she gained many new friends.  She was proud to serve her country first starting in 1993 as an Officer with the Cadet Instructor Cadre in Elliot Lake.  In 2000, she transferred to the 49th (Sault Ste. Marie) Field Artillery Regiment, RCA to become an artillery officer, retiring in 2010 as a Captain with her Canadian Forces Decoration.

Stacey was an incredible wife, mother and friend.  She was a very strong person who was dedicated to her family and friends.  She always gave the best of herself, touching the lives of many people.  She will be missed dearly.
