passed away peacefully at the General Hospital on Sunday, November 23, 2003 at the age of 71. Beloved husband and best friend of June (Gowans). Loving father of Mark (Debbie), Ken (Margaret), James (Kathy) and Jeffrey (Jackie). Special grandfather of Nicole, Abby, Andrew, Katelyn, Steven, Mathew, Jordan, Justin and Jillian. Brother of Leo (Delores), Roland (Barbara), Albert (Bea), Aimee (Roberta), Cathy Clement (Rheal), Cecile Buffone (Joe). Brother-in-law of Bill (Rita) Gowans, Robert (Marlene)Gowans, Marie Lehtonen (late Jim), late Rod (friend Ann) Gowans. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Viola Lajoie. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Tuesday, November 25, 2003 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel. Rev.
