After a courageous battle with ALS, Gary passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Sault Area Hospital on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at the age of 77. Beloved husband, best friend and soul mate of Pauline for 55 years. Cherished father of Steven (Charlotte) and Paula Rouleau (Steve). Proud Papa of Courtney, Alex, Ben, Marc and Sydney. Great grandpa of Angelo Kovacevich. Dear brother of Valarie Lidstone (Graham). Predeceased by his mother, Eda Sarlo and father, John Kovacevich.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you for the excellent care Gary received from the CBI (PSW’s), ParaMed (Tammy), Dr. Kobelka, Dr. Laduk and the 3A SAH Staff. A special thank you to all Gary’s dearest friends for their love and support over the many years including his very special neighbours Steve and Carol VanSteeland for always being there for us.
