It is with our deepest and great sadness we announce the sudden passing of another one of God’s angels. On Tuesday December 4, 2018, Rosemary Margaret Koski in her 78th year was called home. Mom was predeceased by her parents, Oskar and Elsa Kojonen, her sister, Laila Moore, her husband, Carl David Hnatow and her son, Dwayne Andrew Hnatow. She is survived by her daughter Dina Tuckett (Andre), her granddaughter’s, Tahnee Koski, Emily Tuckett and her grandson, Ryan Hnatow. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mom was a hard worker her entire life, a wonderful wife and a great mother and grandmother, a best friend. She had a way of putting a smile on the faces of all those around her, even during her salty times. She had many passions during her lifetime, her favourites including, swimming, knitting and so much more but her best times were being a grandmother. She was an active member of the Moose Lodge with my father for many years as well. Mom was a long time employee of the Ontario Finnish Resthome as well, a job she loved completely. I and her grandchildren would like to say a heartfelt “thank you”, to all the beautiful loving and caring people that have been involved in the care process for my mom during her residency at Mauno Kaihla Koti. There are truly no words for all those loving, selfless souls that looked after mom day in and day out right until her last breath. These people are without any doubt my everyday heroes, my friends. Mom was a part of such a large family, not of blood but of heart and spirit. I’d personally also like to say thank you to my dietary coworkers, my friends. As per Mom’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service but a simple cremation. Her ashes will be laid to rest alongside my dad and brother in her parents plot at Greenwood Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 215 St. James St, 705-759-8456.

Mom, with a huge hole in my heart, I will look and listen for you every day as I do dad and Dwayne until we are all together once again.
