Esko Korte passed away peacefully at the Plummer Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, August 28, 2002, at the age of 83. Beloved husband of the late Mirjami. Dear father of Marjatta Schultz (Ed) of Florida and Pertti Korte (Linda) of New Liskeard, Ontario. Grandfather of Heidi and Stephen Korte of New Liskeard. He will be missed by relative and friends in Finland and Canada. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Friday, August 30 from 10:00 a.m. until time of the funeral service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Mr. Joe Reese officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Gideon Bibles would be appreciated by the family.
