Passed away at St. Joseph’s General Hospital, Elliot Lake, Saturday, March 6, 2004 at the age of 69. Dear husband of Helen Koob of Spragge. Dear father of Martin (Heather Smith), Joan (Rick Norkooli), Joseph, Andrew, Julia Taylor (Mike Cohen), Angela and Marie Newell (Roger). Dear grandfather of Kimberly, Amelia and Madeline. Dear brother of Leona Boyle (late Raymond, Tony (Mary), Louis (Mearl), Louise Stang (Jacob), Clem (late Clara), Cecilia McGrath (Mike), Frank (Rose) and the late Stella Loehr (Daniel). Friends may call at the Menard Funeral Home, Blind River, Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass to be held Thursday, March 11, at 10 a.m. from St. James the Greater, Blind River with Father Jim Ketzler officiating. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to the ALS Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
