Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving children at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Friday, July 19, 2019 at the age of 72 year. She is now reunited with her beloved husband and best friend, John Findlay. Loving mother of Michelle Turco (John) and Christine Knight (Kirk Mills). Dear Grandmother of Robert Turco, Stephen Turco (Maegan), Amber, Devon and the late Thomas Gulbranson. “G Nanna” of Joel and Cameron Turco. Predeceased by her parents Art and Dale Maki. Sister of Marilyn Maki (Al), Brian Maki and Aldene Burry (Laurie). Catherine will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends and family are invited to visit Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until time of the Funeral Service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Mary Alice Policicchio officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations to the ARCH or the SAH Cancer Care Fund would be appreciated by the family.  A special thank you to the entire staff at ARCH for the care and compassion shown to mom and our family.
