Mary Eleanor Keenan passed away at the Plummer Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, January 29, 2003 at the age of 91. Loving wife of the late Curly. Beloved mother of Tom (Gayle) and Jimmy (late Louise). Cherished grandmother of Tommy, Eric, Tracy, Lori, Mary Beth, Steve, David and Bradley. Great grandmother of 9. Eleanor is predeceased by one daughter, Sister Mary Keenan of the Loretto Order, brothers Jack and Kim Buckley and her parents Bill and Carrie Buckley. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, January 31, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Precious Blood Cathedral on Saturday, February 1, at 11 am. with Rev. Bernard Burns officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Sault Ste. Marie Minor Soccer League, Sault Ste. Marie Minor Baseball League or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
