KATZENBACK, Gayle BIO copy
On Thursday, March 15th at 9:56 AM, while in the loving arms of her adoring family and friends, the Lord gently welcomed our angel Gayle Catherine Katzenback, into His arms at the young age of 21 years. For close to 3 years, Gayle shone brightly as an inspiration to so many with how bravely and valiantly she battled cancer. Gayle refused to let the disease define her, and she always fought for what mattered most to her, which was cherishing her family, loving her friends, and finding reasons to celebrate. Gayle has become a legend to those that know her best, and a sparkling inspiration to thousands of others. In Gayle's own words "It's Fine, I'm Fine." Gayle will be remembered forever by her parents Jason & Charlene Katzenback and Audrey Overman (Charlie Brecheisen), her sweet baby sister Jillian Katzenback, her grandparents Ken (Poppa) & Gaele Overman and Ron & Marlene Grexton. Her Aunties and Uncles Jane & Mac Weir, Tomi & Ray Bon, Donny & Tracey Grexton, Shane & Regina Oglow. Her best friends Riley Kennedy, Rob Sandvik, Kristyn Hollinshead and Angela Caputo. Gayle will also be forever cherished by her numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. We would also like to express our deepest and sincere thanks to the amazing nurses and Dr. Sarah White (what an angel), who made this journey that much easier. The celebration of Gayle’s wonderful life will be held at Bethel Bible Chapel (Black Road) Monday March 19, 2018 from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 9 pm with funeral service at Bethel Bible Chapel on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 11 am.  Memorial donations in memory of Gayle may be made to either Camp ABK (where she made so many precious friendships and memories) and 1 Million 4 Anna (A foundation created to honour Anna, another Ewings Sarcoma warrior. The foundation was there for us in the beginning and funds go directly to Ewings research and scholarships.) (Arrangements entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel – 492 Wellington St. E. – 705-759-2522.)
